Sarah was born prematurely and had to be on a ventilator. She's
had many problems including chronic infections, eye muscle problems,
brain and sinus surgeries, asthma, GERD, and a heart defect. She
has one leg longer than the other, so she wears leg braces.
Sarah has a one-to-two year developmental delay. She is unable
to write because of stroke-like symptoms which resulted from four
brain surgeries within a week's time. She receives intensive rehab
and speech therapy.
When Sarah turned 18, she graduated from the HUGS and HOPE Club
for Sick Kids. We wish her a life time of happiness!
