Send Balloons

When one of our club kids is hospitalized, we like to send a mylar balloon bouquet to cheer them up! (Plants, flowers, and regular balloons are not allowed, due to possible allergies and choking hazard)

NOTE: This is a volunteer program. If there are no volunteers or our coordinator can't get the hospital information from the parents, there is a possibility that the kids will NOT receive balloons.

Our Balloon Coordinator, Jan S, keeps track of which children need balloons. She also keeps a list of volunteers who have offered to personally deliver or order balloons for these children.

Please contact Jan if you would like to take a turn sending balloons to a hospital when a child needs surgery or a bone marrow transplant. The process is simple. You may call the hospital gift shop and charge balloons to your credit card. They will deliver them immediately to the child's room. It usually costs just a couple dollars per balloon. OR, if you live near the hospital, you could buy the balloons and deliver them personally to the child's room.
